Alex is a native of Massachusetts, and attended High Point University where she received her B.A in Special Education in 2013. She then began working as a physical therapy aide where she discovered her passion for the field. She returned to school to study to become a physical therapy assistant at Bay State College, and then graduated in May 2016. She began working as a PTA at Falmouth Physical Therapy, where she developed her skills in various manual therapy techniques as well as the use of therapeutic exercise to progress towards meeting their rehab goals. She also assisted with group personal training classes in the clinic, where she worked with elite level athletes to improve training techniques and promote injury prevention.
Alex has special interests in pediatric care, orthopedics and various sports related injuries. She particularly enjoys working with the senior population of the community working on fall prevention. She has a passion for motivating seniors to improve their strength, balance and mobility to keep them active throughout their daily lives.
Outside the clinic, Alex enjoys hiking, running, walking with her dog (goldendoodle), reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
