Laurel is a native of New Hampshire, with a background in dance and yoga. She earned her BFA in Modern Dance from the University of Utah, and spent five years in Seattle, WA teaching and performing as a dancer. She became certified as a yoga teacher in 2009 and went on to teach group and private lessons with a focus on helping people with chronic low back pain and postural dysfunction.
Her interest in helping people heal through movement led her to return to school and earn her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from RiverValley Community College in May 2014.
Prior to starting at Dee Physical Therapy, Laurel worked at an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Woodstock, VT where she gained experience in a variety of manual therapy techniques as well as the use of therapeutic
exercise to help patients through their rehab process. She has a special interest in working with the shoulder and neck, and helping people correct their posture. Laurel joined Dee PT in April 2015 and is thrilled to be working in an environment where she can help others heal and achieve their optimal state of health and vitality.
